Dan Czerwinski did not set out to open a detailing shop. He started in window tinting at an automotive shop that also handled remote starts, car audio, and electronics, then spent time in national store development for an auto parts company. Diamond Tints began in December 2017 as a weekend operation, built around word of mouth and cars worked on after hours.
By May 2019, demand had grown enough that Dan left other work behind and ran the business full time.

The current shop at 1070 Star Lane opened in January 2022, the point when Dan brought on the first additional technician and the business became a real storefront rather than a mobile operation.
